Acton produces two types of broadband metallic beamsplitter coatings. These beamsplitters are designed for 45° angle of incidence and can be provided with S&P polarization information based on simulations and actual data. These beamsplitters are designed for low power applications in the wavelength ranges 120-300nm.

MVUVBS45: Vacuum UV beamsplitter transmittance & reflectance, 32–42% average from 120 nm – 240 nm at 45°

MMUVBS45:Middle UV beamsplitter transmittance & reflectance, 40–50% average from 170 nm – 320 nm at 45°

Note: Coatings can be applied to Acton standard mirror blanks, custom substrates, and customer supplied material (CSM). Contact us at [email protected] for more details.

Part numbers listed above are for 45° angle of incidence (AOI) coatings only. If normal-incidence coatings are required, delete the “45” from the coating part number.

Generally, laser-grade UV fused silica substrates are recommended for MMUVBS coatings and UV-grade MgF2 is recommended for MVUVBS coatings. Coatings can also be applied to customer-supplied material (CSM).
